Buttock Enhancement
Buttock Enhancement Procedure
A buttock enhancement reshapes sagging, flat buttocks or loose skin around the buttock. It may also add or reposition fat to create a more natural, rounded contour.
A buttock enhancement may be appropriate if you are unhappy with the shape of your buttocks despite exercise or weight loss, or if you have lost a significant amount of weight and wish to reduce excess sagging skin.
A buttock enhancement may have incisions hidden in a thong or bikini pattern, or along the natural curve of the lower buttock crease. If liposuction or fat redistribution is involved, this can be accomplished without additional incisions.
Generally, this is done as a day-case under general anaesthesia and recovery will depend on the extent of your procedure. Light activity can be done the day after your surgery, and a full return to normal activities may take two to three weeks.
A light compression garment may be recommended during your recovery to help reduce fluid retention and shape your new curves. Results can be long-term, but weight loss/gain or pregnancy may alter your appearance.
