Ultra PRP for the treatment for hair loss

There are many causes of hair loss.. genetics, hormonal status, iron deficiency, vit D deficiency, thyroid disorders amongst other things.
With advances in understanding of some of these issues… PRP (or platelet rich plasma) injected into the dermis of the skin, has proven to be a successful part of the treatment of mild to moderate hair thinning, in the early to mid stages.

What is Ultra-PRP?

Ultra-PRP is a method of extracting concentrated platelets from your blood. It involves the drawing of blood and a process of isolating pure platelets.
At Therapy, we use the Vital 2 injector to then systematically place the plasma in a relatively painless process
The platelets release growth factors which are then activated in the dermis via collagen 4 (which is present in the skin)
One of these growth factors is vascular endothelial growth factor. This forms new vessels which help to bring oxygenated blood and nutrients to the hair bulb.

We recommend an initial consultation to address any medical reasons for hair loss. After this, a holistic treatment strategy can be recommended for you.
